Surgery day

Today im having a catheter surgery... Im HOPEFULLY getting my old 12 year old catheter removed as well as a replacement for my working one. My 12 year old cath. Has been causing me probems grinding against my collar bone and turns my skin above my catheter different colors because it is annoying the tissue in my neck. This is my 1st neck surgery and i hope to get my 12 year old cath AKA Bertha removed. I have my bff Kara with me to help get me through all it. Please pray 4 her because she admits she is going to freak out but she also admits that being with me is best her... My hospital buddy Hope you rest IN PIECES BERTHA!!

Dr. Visit

10:15 ish , I go back to see my NS. He tells me that my neck incision is red from the stitches absorbing. Other than regular instructions , he told me that when he took out my shunt, it was calcifide. I was hoping to get an answer about the possible gleoma. Instead ,he told me that he wasnt sure if what he saw was damage from a malfunction I had or if its something else, so he wants me to go see a doctor at MD Anderson within the next 6 months but I want to get it done now,and mom agreed
