Summer 2010, Swimming & yeah, its working!

It's been a long time since I posted in my diary regarding my lymphedema. I am happy to report that my husband and I put in an above ground pool and I plan to go to an indoor pool (where I tookswim therapy originally) in the colder months! I am so excited this summer to be able to wake up and go for a swim once or even twice a day (or sometimes all day if I can!)!  It is working! I mad...

I was crying and so sad when I had to wear bandages for my lymphedema. It hindered me so much and was so uncomfortable for me. I felt worse than I did before I was diagnosed with a mild caseof lower lymphedema.  I thought to go ahead and try the bandages...I saw it on paper, I saw in the booklet, but when I tried it I must be honest and say I hated it! I felt so confined, so binded...

I am so lucky to have a friend I have known since I was a teen-ager!  She truly cares and we were on the phone last night for a really long time as usual! Our conversations never are short.
