I also found new friends here and they have restore my faith in humanity. People everywhere come here to share same problems or solutions to problems we encounter in our lives. MDjunction is a wonderful site and has help not only myself but also my family and friends. Slowly starting progress

Venita'a journey. It took me 30 years to become the size I am and I pray the times it takes to get this weight off is reduced to about 2 years total and then forever lifestyle changes and learning a new way to eat and live... not live to eat.

Chronic Constipation

May 20 2010

I swore to myself that the first hemmorhoid that I got after gastric would be my last. Well it hasn't been and I'm dealing with constipation that is beyond what I want to endure. I have beentaking Miralax, Benefiber, took an enema, gave myself a Ducolax laxative suppository and stool softeners. I don't like this not going at all.

I know I"m eating much much less and then trying to get in the recommended protein and these two things alone will get a person in a bad shape. I try to keep my fluids up to around 60-90 ounces a day, with about 16-24 of those being some skim milk. I have posted a discussion on the forum to see what others have to offer and see if I can get this under control. I absolutely do not want to have to go to ER to have them just give me an enema, when I can do that at home. If I don't improve within the next week some, I will call my primary care doctor.
