When I was not medicated properly and adding to that self-medicating with alcohol (and perhaps too much of prescription drugs as well). I isolated and was anything but easy to be around. And "one is the loneliest number you'll ever do."

I'm opening up in A.A. and N.A. meetings when I can make them, and I see where it does nobody any good to not engage and share with others, and particularily with those who have "been there, done that" with regard to addiction issues.

Waiting for the Right One to Come Along

Jun 30 2012

When we have poor role models, if we choose based on what we saw then do (and/or misbehave), then we are, in a way, responding to a sort of "addiction" like people do to alcohol.

There are SLAA groups (support groups for people with sex and love addiction problems), and it night do you well to find one in your area.

Secondly, if you have been active (and you say you are), pehaps get a STD test at a Planned Parenthood Center - and - learn about safe sex (condoms for men, and they have the for women as well).

I wish you wellness - and there is nothing wrong with feeling "frisky"; it's just what we choose to do with the feelings that has consequences.

Maybe you will be like me, I'm holding out for the right woman, the one that sex only adds to the basis of a great relationship and is not the only reason we come together.
