When I was not medicated properly and adding to that self-medicating with alcohol (and perhaps too much of prescription drugs as well). I isolated and was anything but easy to be around. And "one is the loneliest number you'll ever do."

I'm opening up in A.A. and N.A. meetings when I can make them, and I see where it does nobody any good to not engage and share with others, and particularily with those who have "been there, done that" with regard to addiction issues.

Responding to Another Facebook Game Invitation

Jun 17 2012
Sweetie,

I thought I told you before - I am really busy on MDJunction (I am an advocate there); you might want to visit.  Because I am busy publishing websites and talking to people in distress who have been signing into MDJ saying they want to killl themselves, I just have not had the inclination to play the games on Facebook.  I see it as a way we can, once again, talk with one another, support one another.  Games are for passing time, and right now my sense is I will very shortly not be here on the planet.

Remember, it was the two of us who always hooked up when either of us were suicidal?  It was Tony who sat down and had a cigarette and listened to me when I was in a full-blown mania.  He knew how to listen (did you know he was a priest?).

Anyway, you might be interested to visit:

MDJunction (you can read my blog, "Scoobystales, " there.

I love you and have for years.  However, I'm starting to move forward (thanks to the 12-Step programs of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous.  I'm looking forward to having a fuller life.  Right now, I have only this computer, my guitar, and some change in my pocket.  I returned a cell to Best Buy, took the refund money and added to my Virgin Wireless account - but now the battery needs replacing and I cannot afford it.

I am staying at the Victory Mission (see Street Smarts...you will get the idea).  I'm down with addicts, prostitutes and not the best bunch (not like a Newport Beach crowd).

So, once again, please don't send me more invitations to play games like Farmville, etc.  They are really cute, but not my "cup of tea."

Do you know what the recipe for a "Honeymoon Salad" is?

Answer:  Lettuce alone with no dressing (lol).

Don't get too skinny or I'll have to shake the sheets to find you!
