MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

what an awesome day....totally unexpected too.  I had to take my car to the dealership in the morning and did not want to ask anyone to pick me up, take me home, and back....and the dealershipwould have but....where I go is about 20 mi. from my house...so i was there for like 6 hours and met the neatest people.

one of the women salespeople got me to test drive the saturn SKY....an awesome sports car.  she and I connected mentally.

then, they were having the Parade that is this yearly thing (i used to live out past this city when I was married, so am really comfortable going there to sho[p, etc. etc. plus have friends there)....at any rate, this woman and her blind son were at the dealership, and he was 16, and blind.  he was going to be in the parade.....and she told us how he has been on Oprah and on this other talk show...I cannot think of her name...drawing a complete blank..oh, ELLEN show...that is right....he clicks and does not have to use a blind cane to walk, to ride a bike, etc. etc....it is awesome.  he had cancer in his eyes at age 2...and eyes removed...has glass eyes.  It is incredible and his mom was just the most loving woman.  I felt really good with these women.....funny how God connects us sometimes with people,  that we just totally bond with....even if it is for only an hour.   AWESOME.

then spent later afternoon and evening with my best friend and her husband and watched 27 dresses on their BIG old TV.....FFFFFUUUNNNN!!!!

today, I gotta call a couple friends to check in because one of them is my adopted dau., and her Grandma is in the hospital.  i need to check on her.   another single gal my age who we lived by each other out in the country....she lost her ex husband last year to alcoholism.....she loved him always, even after their divorce about 16 years ago.....sad sad......so gotta make those two calls.

did yard work this morning....ok, hope all who read this, if anyone does, are having a wonderful Sunday.   bye.
