Dreaming Big...Need Advice |
Nov 20 2011 |
My husband and I have been tossing around the idea of starting a special needs school that would include an early intervention program, all the way up to a vocational fellowship program for adults withASD challenges. There is more need on the part of the adults, it seems, so right now we're looking at models for the vocational program, trying to imagine something that would give practical, broadly applicable job skills, while at the same time having the flexibility to feed the obsessive interest and learning drive that some of our kiddos have. If you've seen a model you like and could send me a link to an article or a website where other folks who are doing this describe their business model we'd appreciate hearing from you on this.
