I said a prayer today and I asked why am I alive?
The only answer I got back is to do my work and survive.
I couldn't grasp the simple aswer and asked for more detail.
"He" said to more it seems that simple but the road is harder to hevan then it is to hell.
So I thought some more and handed "Him" my problems on a plate.
I asked how I could do some much with all of and prepared for a debate.
And pretty soon the answer came to my surprise
It was as simple and yet coplex as the one previously before my eyes.
If you try hard to do good works all the rest is mundane.
The rewards for those whom do this job are being at peace with life and all it holds and soon you'll have less pain.
So i said see ya so to speak and went on my way.
It was hard at first to do this work but got easier day to day.
I found simple things like smiling, making all of my actions good,
even just being kind brought me content as it should.
When the bed days came I thought " What of these then?'
So I thought of my life as a gem .
You see when things get rough its because we take for granted what we have .
Our souls become bruised and battered it takes more to heal them then just salve .
So I worked hard again thanking God for all of the good and bad.
Then god reminded me of the talk we had.
"You see my child life now a days is a desert with a blazing sun.
But with love contenment and compasion good is always won.
Even in a hard life, like the desert, beautiful things can grow.
It is up to us my child as to what we do for the flowers to bloom and grow.
Those whom take a step back a take a breathe soon realize that the hard things prepare us for what's next.
I am not the one whom makes things as they come.
It is what you choose and what you have done.
I merely test you my dear to keep you on your toes.
If you do well my child you too can bloom as adesert rose."
So I thanked dear God for helping me accrossed the hot coals in life.
I pray that you do as I and remember the desret rose in your strife.
I hope that my poem will help you all. rediscovering me a.k.a. Heather
