Mental Health Court?

It has been offered that my case go over to a mental health court. Tomorrow morning is decision time.  I am asking if you have any thoughts or experiences with the mental health court.
The charges I am facing,
 
DISORDERLY CONDUCT
FLEEING OR ATTEMPTING TO ELUDE
RECKLESS DRIVING
 
Four days after the arrest I learn that I am manic-depressive. 
Personally I have mixed feelings that I want to get this over with my pre-trial is 29 June 28, 2012 and trial on 3 July 2012.  It has caused stagnation in my life; the thought of it dragging out further bothers me. 
 
Last I want my story getting out, the reactions of the church involved should be known.  As on public record, I believe that I was acting with good intentions at the time in a manic-way I learn later.
