Hi Roy, really like the new format! Only one problem, messages at the top end under my personal menu, so miss the last word partially. Not a new problem, just decided to mention it. If I could close my menu I could see it. Maybe it's only a 'personal' problem? :p

Also love the new twins but might want to have the one checked out. Seems the poor mite has no toes or fingers! I only have one pic not two but know big sis is beautiful too.

Right or left doesn't matter to me--I prefer the left as that is what I am used to but functionally it makes no difference.

I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to how things look and appear. Still getting used to seeing the profile on right. I guess it seemed more natural to me on the left. Been here for 3 years so used to the other way. The green well, not sure yet. It's kind of bright and may clash a bit with the other color. I like ,the logo but that white hand kind of freaky. Don't hate me Roy, just trying to be honest.

On a postive note, I appreciate all the changes you have made and effort you have long put into making this site better for everyone. So precious are your little girls and pictures. Rachele

Since, most people have there mouse on the right, it feels more natural if it's on the right. Also, we're quite programmed to do many things on the right. Such as, walkin up and down stairs, exiting and entering doors.

Also, what a precious little angel you have there. Although, there's only one picture, not two. ;o)

When I saw the message I thought for short it had something to do with the 'Awareness Ribbon'. By coincidence my Ribbon is green and just after a few minutes I realized it was the new green color of MDJ. I find changes good sometimes and the green somehow gives a 'happier' look in my opinion.

Roy the girls are precious, how old is the new little one. Didn' you have one when you first started this site I think . I don't mind the green as green also represents Polycystic Kidney Disease and other Kidney problems. One of my members has been waiting so long for a kidney we are trying to bring her to the states.

I absolutely LOVE the new changes Roy. It has a great feel with the new colors. Initially I was thrown by the move of the login to the right but I quickly got used to it and now I think I like it where it is (on the right) but either is fine.

LEFT SIDE; for busy LEADERS like me, we get MANY PMS, so having it on the left we can continue answering PMS one right after the other until we have answered them all; then we go read the board and answer from there.

many of my instructions i copy/paste all indicate the left side too; after 4 years of it being LEFT SIDE; it's very DIFFICULT to adjust for us "senior" citizens where change is hard to adjust to and 42 years of NEURO LYME disease cognitive difficulties.

love the green; i thought it was the consensus of the group the WHITE DEALTHLY HAND color would be changed?

at least that's what i got out of all the feedback i read early on when you asked for suggestions on our picking the mdj new logo.

I was a little lost the first time I logged on and the menu was on the right and too be honest I still look to the left first..old habits are hard to break. but I like the new format and in the end this is all small stuff so don't sweat it...lol...love this site so it is all good.

For the menu, left or right is fine with me. If it’s at the right, the current discussion list laid well at left side of the screen, giving the sense of special corner by itself. If it’s at the left, it’ll be good because I’m use to it...just that I need time to adjust.

Aww.. your girls are so BEAUTIFUL!!! Thanks for sharing a picture of them. My 10 year old daughter Hallie Bleu has a "baby" too and she still sleeps with it, sometimes..lol. Hallie's baby is ALL beat up and I had to repair her many many many times but when Hallie is over her baby I am going to frame her. That is how special this baby is. You have NO idea how many times she lost that thing and us not being able to go somewhere or go to sleep without finding it..lol. Lots and I mean LOTS of times!! But we love her baby. It is the original glow worm with the light taken out of the inside. This baby will be passed down to Hallie's kids. Not to play with but to look at. SO I would say if you call that baby your 3rd baby I would do the same as we are going to with it when she is done with her. So sweet!!

But as for the menu I am used to it on the left but maybe that is because I am left handed. But it does not matter to me what side you put the menu on...we will all get used to whatever you think is the best for this website. Thank you for all that you do!! TmjTerri

Your little girl and baby girl are beautiful. You are a lucky man. Funny how people either have all girls or all boys. I have 3 boys. I always wanted a little girl too but I don't think my body could handle another pregnancy, but I wish I could. Having a hard enough time carrying myself around...lol. A friend of mine tried 4 times to have a little girl and she ended up with 4 boys but she loves them just the same as I love mine. My oldest just left me and joined the Navy. As a mother I really didn't want him to go, at all. I know that sounds selfish considering all the other families who's sons/daughters are fighting for our Country and others. He's always been active and he seems to like it a lot. Although I liked it better when he was home and safe. It's difficult to let go when they become adults because they will always be your babies. He's very intelligent so I hope he gets a safer job. He graduated high school with a 4.25gpa. He got all the extra credit he could. He is already helping command others and he just started a couple of weeks ago. I support him and am very proud of him. This was his life decision and I have to support it. I just miss him so much. My pain has been so bad this month too. I wonder if the worrying is making it worst.

Love the new logo, and so far everything is working for me. I was thinking that the logo should jump out at you though, like having it bigger and more prominent, along with the MD JUNCTION title. It is what represents this site, and the people on here, so it should have a place of honor. Thank you, by the way, for this site. It is helping me, and I know it is helping so many people, and we are all trying to "join hands" and help each other. It is a beautiful concept, and much needed in this world today.

My Honest Opinion:

I can adjust to any of the changes including the ghost hand, but I absolutely HATE the green. It is much harder to read now and I have been using the site MUCH less since the changes( experiencing various site errors).

Black Print (esp BOLD) is easier to read than the white with yellow green background or white print on blurry grey with a yellow/green colored background. The blue was also MUCH easier on the eyes than the green is. The green in combination with the yellow and the ghost hand reminds me of the movie 'the exorcist'. The look of the site before was calming and peaceful but now just feels chaotic (with the exception of the holding hands picture/logo). The holding hands logo would be perfect if changed to either flesh colored tones or maybe a more artistically colored representation of diversity? The way the logo looks now seems to represent that MDJ is about some sort of ghost beings >("People") "helping" Caucasians >("People") which leaves a bunch of us out.

I am thankful for all the effort, consideration and time that goes in to making these changes that anyone asked for our opinions on the site changes. Thank You!!!

I read back through the comments on choosing the new logo and wonder why were the changes were centered around the green background? It looks like most comments were focused on liking the concept of the hands, NOT the green. Most comments on color were directed towards not liking the color of the hands. Other colors suggested by the many who didn't like the green background were blue and red. It would be nice to see almost any other color than the green.

Beautiful girls! I like the green on the site, easier on my eyes. I read once that jewelers used to keep a green stone nearby to look at so they could "rest" their eyes. Still prefer the menu on the left, perhaps I'm just a creature of habit, but it's still the first place I look when I come on the site. I'm so happy for you. Your girls are beautiful. I grew up in a family with 4 girls and I SO REMEMBER and cherish the times when my dad took us to the pool or out to hit golf balls at the driving range. I was the last one and I always got the feeling he was hoping for a boy since he got me all the boy "Stuff". Just remember to cherish them andspend as much time as you can with them as those moments will be precious to them.

Looks good Roy. Green and yellow are great - green for earth, yellow for healing warmth of the sun and a splash of the pale blue of a warm summer day.

My preference for the personal menu would be on the LEFT - seems like it'd be more in keeping with windows, email, IE layouts, altho I run XP and don't know what win 7 and other emails are like.

For new people learning a forum is easier if it's in a format similar to other things - especially if they are like me. I don't want to read pages and pages of directions. If something doesn't work somewhat intuitively I won't bother with it.

Going green was great, Menu on the left works for me but then I believe in majority rules. Great looking kids, make sure you enjoy them now cuz time flies when they are so young.

The layout is nice and easy to read. I like being able to see lots of messages on the screen at the same time. I don't come on too often, so it's not a big deal to me how it's layed out, but this is nice.

Your little girls are sweet and pretty. I bet you enjoy them a lot!

Beautiful children! I have not been on for ages. As usual my adult daughter has had our lives in constant turmoil! I have not even had time to talk or get any support. I have not even looked at the format, but I'm sure I can adjust to a change. Hoping to get into things here on my group, but may need to add another group concerning situations going on!
