Live Chat, MDJ Bar and so much more |
Jun 01 2010 |
UPDATE: as of August 2012 we no longer support the MDJ toolbar and we recommend uninstalling it.
Exciting day !
I am very happy to announce the launch of the MDJunction Community toolbar for your browser (aka the MDJ Bar)!! You can now get many of the functionalities of MDJunction on your own browser with a BIG added value… the MDJ Bar supports a 1on1 live chat customized for our own community.
What is this bar? We partnered with Conduit, the leading provider of toolbars in the world, to built the MDJ Bar which will show when you have PMs waiting, give you quick access to your groups, one click to start a discussion in any of your groups and the ability to chat live with your friends on MDJunction without giving away your IM or personal email. One step up in helping you choose what stays on MDJunction and what goes elsewhere…
Click here to visit the Download Page . The toolbar comes with a built in uninstaller so if you don’t like it you can always remove it.
In addition to the MDJunction functionalities the Bar comes with an easy to use google search, a great internet radio feature and the option to add an email notifier and local weather. We’re also working hard on making another MDJunction feature available to the bar but I’m not at liberty to say what it is yet…. I can only tell you it will be very very COOL ;-)
SO – go ahead and try it out!
Your friend,
roy

Thanks for letting me know about the tool bar. At this present time I already have way to many tool bars and really need to get rid of some of them. Thank you very much though for your efforts in this complete web site which has become a very great service to many people with alot of health problems and a way of communicating their problems and looking for answers.
Very beautiful little girl!

When I downloaded the toolbar, it installed in Internet Explorer. Is there a way to install it in Firefox which I use all the time.
Your daughter is adorable, mine is 5 and isn't this just the most precious time? Enjoy every moment
MDJ is my family and you've made it that. God bless you.

well, i downloaded it, but i think mine is hung up somewhere??
my left margin is cut off 1/2" so i can't read anything there; i tried reducing my VIEW size by using mouse/control to decrease size; nope.
looks great; i don't want to make mdj my home page; i want my email to remain that way, but will be a TIMESAVER i'm sure!
thanks guys for creating this site and all the thousands of VOLUNTEER hours you spend here making it run efficiently with your HUGE GROWING OF MEMBERS for all 700 boards you offer!
well done my 2 friends.
lovely daughter in nature, hope you've got her well dressed for being outside to avoid TICKS & FUTURE LYME DISEASE.
i've forgotten, what is her given name? what a sweety pie, she'll break many boys hearts growing up.
, you must be so proud. She gets me to think of my daughter, she no longer here unfortunatly. If you hae time later I'd like to ask you a couple of questions. Very grateful for all the hard work. Angelw502
Barbara I am new here also, when I'm fully able too,I will give
The tool bar a looking over.Again,Thank You. D.
What a beautiful child!!!!
Little Angel, what a beautiful gift
That is so cool will it be one big chat room or individual chat rooms? Will we be able to view our 'chatter-friends' profiles? I have neurofibromatosis and over six years ago we had a chat room where we could look at our 'chatter-friends' profile. That chat room closed down and when they gave us our new chat room that does not allow us to veiw profiles, it is only for chat.
Your little one is sweet, thanks for sharing. Have a good week.
Best to you, Coco
Thanks again.
Diane
The new toolbar sounds good-being a bit technophobic, I might need a tutorial : ) but I will definitely check it out. I'm going to hook up with two support groups near me in the next month or so, and I'll print out the MDJ info that I know is somewhere on here, and take it along. I've been having a really rough time, and am trying to get a grip on anxiety and depression, as well as the Fibromyalgia. As of today, I haven't left my house in a week, which is not good. I've always been the "helper"; not used to being the "helpee" (is that a word?) It's still really difficult for me to ask for help.
Anyway, I will pass on info if I can drag myself to the above-mentioned groups, and also have some info a friend sent me about new treatments for Fibromyalgia, which I'm checking out, and will gladly pass on. It's past the scientific study stage, and being utilized by doctors in many areas across the country! Not sure if it's covered by insurance, but I'll check. I'll contact you to see what might be the best way to get it to the group on here.
Thanks again for your info; your little girl looks sweet as always : )
Take care!
~Karen
