MDJunction to me

MisaBlue01"MD Junction has been a safe haven for me. I have met so many caring and understanding people and i don't feel so alone anymore with my bipolar. I now know that others suffer as well and that we need each other for support. I hope that one day we can all learn to love and respect each other more and that no one will have to suffer anymore." Ongoing Symptoms, tests, and no relief!

My diary is going to be an ongoing list of symptoms, test done, how I'm treated by my doctors, what doctors I've seen, what doctors I will see, treatments on, etc.

Is the babesia gone?

Aug 20 2011

I have been on pretty aggressive treatment for babesia microti since May 2011, and interestingly enough drenching sweats are 95% gone! Does this mean the babesia is gone already???

I've been mostly on malarone and plaquenil with some artimisinin and now criptolepsis, and it seems to have done the job. I am very happy to not have drenching sweats anymore, but worried that it's not gone - only the symptoms are.

Feb 5, 2013

My drenching sweats are back with a vengeance. I knew it was too good to be true. I'm taking artemesia and criptolepsis.
