So, this morning I was driving to work and it hit me...another panic attack. I immediately starting to develop a checklist in me head of the tools I needed. Phone...no service...coldwater..nope, belly breathing...check...a/c..check....calming music...check...ativan...don't use it unless you get totally out of control I used what I had and within 5 minutes I was ok. I wasn't fine but I was coping...AND without drugs...thats a first for me. Of course I have a long way to go, but I feel like I have slayed my first "dragon"....Yea me!
