MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

About my daily struggles with fibro and trying to get on with life.

I forgot to call the doctor about my tests again today.  I guess I'll have to put up a note so I will see it tomorrow.  I was going to call Susie today also.  I guess she probably thinksI am avoiding her or something.  I have noticed more and more things lately that I have problems remembering or doing.  I never could spell worth a darned but now it is terrible.  And my typing is getting really bad.  I skip words that I am thinking.  I make a mess of things.  My fine motor skills aren't so fine anymore.   Is this stress from school?  Is it natural aging or is it fibromyalgia?  I don't know but it worries me.

Nitalynn, I'm guessing that since we all have it, it's fm.
I thought at first it was age. Before I got diagnosed, I thought it was all age. That pissed me off, because I thought those kinds of things weren't supposed to happen until you're at least 65.

It is worrying. Try keeping lists. I actually have a small digital voice recorder that's awesome for keeping track of todo lists and staying organized. I named her "Sally" after Sally on the Dick Van Dyke show.

Sadly, I lost Sally about two or three years ago. I haven't seen her since. I'm hopeful, though, that we'll be reunited. If not here, then in the afterlife.

I loved Sally!
