MDJunction to me

sleepySheri"in august 2008, i accidentally found this site and i love it. i have struggled with narcolepsy since 1993 and to this day i have never met another narcoleptic in person. to share my story and read the stories of others as well as try to help others means the world to me. i want to thank all those who are there to listen to me and to give me advice...." Even though I've only been DX: with PD for a few months I've dealt with the symptoms for years just did'nt know what was wrong. Good to put a name to my problems.

Funrals and PD don't mix

Dec 17 2010
I had to attend another friends funral today. Last time I went to one it was a nightmare, I shook, my head bobbed, my arms swang I could not walk myself out the door. Only this time I planned betterI sit in back, I took extra senemet before hand. my arms still swang a little and my hands had tremors along with my legs but when it was over and time to walk up front to  hug the family and say my good byes i didn't sneek out the back with wifes help i made it to front said my good byes. PD wasn't going to control me this time, and it didn't.
