MDJunction to me

sarahtroy"There's a special place in my heart for MDJ's Bipolars dealing with Alcoholism support group. As an alcoholic in recovery, it is my safe harbor. I draw strength and hope from our Bipolar alcoholics and addicts who bravely share their experiences and courageously face our common demons. This is a special, close and safe group to explore any alcohol or drug issues. I have made many dear friends and been sustained by the love and acceptance so freely offered." (sarahtroy)

I didn't realize this was on my site. I bought a small notebook to write down my daily experiences, symptoms and feelings...yes the old fashion way.

My doctor has decided to pull the plug on my treatment in a few weeks due to multiple complications of this disease.  I'm pissed off about it as the other specialists won't begin treatmentfor the other disorders unless the Hepatitis virus is completely gone.   Where does this leave me.   I am still giving myself Epogen and Neupogen injections every week with the Pegintron.  I am 50 lbs lighter and totally enjoying this part of treatment as I have reclaimed my old wardrobe from 15 ye4ars ago and look HOT.  To bad I can't dance due to the anemia.  I began Physical therapy a few weeks ago and found out that I have significant muscle mass loss and this has also added to my severe pain issues.    It began to pour must go close the windows...See ya

Hi Virginia!

I'm so sorry about your treatments...especially the pain you're enduring right now! You hang there okay? I'll keep you in my prayers!

Many hugs,
Kathleen

Hey, Great to see your face!!!! I am doing much, much better since I started seeing a pain specialist last month. He has given me back my life and believe it or not I rested all day and am now off to the YMCA to go swimming...and go out with "The GUYS" for a bite to eat afterwards.
