MDJunction to me

sleepySheri"in august 2008, i accidentally found this site and i love it. i have struggled with narcolepsy since 1993 and to this day i have never met another narcoleptic in person. to share my story and read the stories of others as well as try to help others means the world to me. i want to thank all those who are there to listen to me and to give me advice...." Leaving the house...

May 05 2012
Its my really good friends birthday today and I promised that this one I was going to celebrate with her.  Im hesitant to leave the house and go be around others...strangers.  Ugh I try not to thinj about it...and the fear is still pretty strong.  I got the war paint on and my hair out of its ponytail.  I sure hope everything just goes alright and not filled with too much drama.  Man this is tough.

I hope you ended up having a decent time while you were there. Sometimes we just don't feel like we can do things. Especially with new people being there. I don't like being around strangers either. It takes me awhile to warm up to people too. I'm sorry your fear was so strong.
