Fraud! |

This is a short one.
So I noticed about six weeks ago, a charge that was on my credit card account that I did not make. It was from Play Station Network. I disputed the charge, but just thought that it was some type of miscellaneous error. Well i went to make an online payment for this months statement and low and behold...the exact same recurring monthly charge from Play Station Network. So I disputed it, called my credit card company and while I was talking to my credit card company, I realized that I had made a purchase on a Playstation 3, a year and a half ago. The very same play station 3 that I bought my fiancee at the time for his birthday. We used my credit card to purchase a movie a year and a half ago...and after we broke up 9 months ago, he took the play station 3....and now he's using my credit card number to make monthly subscriptions.
Needless to say...that was a reallllly dumb move on his part and I hope it ends up kicking him in the ass.
He did the same thing several about three years ago when he had an online poker addiction and he used my credit card to make 3 ($50) dollar deposits onto an online poker site. He didn't tell me, although he swears up and down that he did and I said it was okay, and when I checked my credit card I disputed all three of the charges and remarkeably we were no longer able to play poker using that site any more because the charges I was disputing were charges he made using my credit card and didn't tell me.
Now he's using my credit card again to make fraudulent charges with Play Station Network on the very playstation I bought him for his birthday over two years ago.
So the charges totalled only $20.00 but I wonder if there is any type of punishment for people who make fraudulent charges...hmmmm....anybody? Has this ever happened to anyone before?
