My neverending fight against Lyme

In 2008 I began to feel sick with flu-like symptoms and unexplained rash on neck, belly and back. Several sore throats but no strep...by September I ended up getting a colonoscopy because I kept havingstomach issues and constipation or diarreah. My colonoscopy was normal. A month later I woke up with one side of my face paralized and I had no idea what was happening. I thought I was having a stroke but I felt fine and could talk. I went to the ER and they said I had Bells Palsy. I never even heard of this before that day. They asked if I was pregnant and I said no and then asked if I had been biten by a tick. I said "NO" and they gave me prednisone and sent me home. The next two weeks were horrible on the Prednisone; I was so sick and it hurt to touch me, my hearing was elivated, I felt aweful. The good thing was that the Bells Palsy went away.  This is how my long 3 years begins....
