MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." 1/18 - Lyme Makes Me Paranoid

Jan 18 2011
I received a copy of my recent labs (that I get done monthly to check my liver and CBC).  My AST (SGOT) and ALT (SGPT) are both elevated, which means my liver enzymes are elevated.  I'm wondering if I'll need to add a new supplement to help the liver, or if my naturopath will have my stop the antibiotics.  I know this happened once before and it ended up being a fluke, so I'm hoping that is the case here.  Also worth mentioning is that my creatinine is slightly low (very slight) and for some reason I'm concerned about that, even though most of what I search says that slightly low creatinine is no cause for concern.  There was one mention of low creatinine be a result of a disease that causes decreased muscle mass, which makes me paranoid that the lyme is triggering some other disease (like it does with MS, Parkinson's, etc.).  I know I am completely over reacting here, but I can't help it.  Having Lyme is making me paranoid and I'm constantly over analyzing things now.  Sigh....

Rifampin can cause liver enzymes to go up...they usually go right down when you go off of this.
