MDJunction to me

tomboykimi"What MD Junction means to me is a place where i can feel like im not alone. As someone with something as rare as hydrocephalus, it feels like im the only one in the world with it. When i came to MD, its like everyone has it. It doesnt feel like im alone. And that people need to hold up a sign to say what i have, because people know. And they understand. I can get questions answered from people who have been through it rather than from doctors or people who only can tell you from a physical standpoint. THat is what MD junction means to me." Tried to spruce myself up

Dec 15 2010
I have been just pulling my hair back in a ponytail or just wearing a ball cap. I thought I'd go and get a haircut to put some pizazz back into my appearance.  First off, I did not want the stylistto make small talk with me, I was just not in the mood.  But with the holidays being here next week, that was her topic of choice.  I decided to get a bob and keep my bangs long. Well she cut it and I wanted to get out of there so i did not let her style it, so it looked kind of ratty when I got home.  Hubby says did you get it cut?  I told him yes, it is just not styled. I was not sure if I liked it since it was "unfinished" So instead of styling it I went to take a nap.  I got up just before I had to get my kids and still had not styled it, when I saw them they said nothing.  I finally styled it last night and I decided I do like it, but it does not give me the Pizazz I wanted, I still feel just plain dull.

Feeling plain and dull can be a sign of depression, so watch out for that. I know you have been doing pretty good lately. Maybe you need to do your hair and get dolled up one night and go out with some of your girlfriends for a night out for dinner or something. That might liven you up. I don't like small talk either out getting my hair cut. I have to be in a certain mood to engage in it. Plus, I don't care for the holidays. I'm a Scrooge!! smilies/smiley.gif
