I'd say the Lithium is working

Dec 28 2010
I  just started lithium a little over a week ago.  I was very anxious about having 2 weeks with the kids out of school.  Things are going pretty good so far.  I have not really plannedanything so we have been in the house for the most part.  I will take them out Weds or Thursday.  I was sure being on a new mediation and having the stress of dealing with the kids nonstop would not be a good thing.  My husband was off for Christmas eve and Christmas day and then worked during the day on Sunday instead of over night.  That helped a lot.  It is hard to keep the kids quiet during the day while he sleeps. I can tell I will need to go up on the dose of lithium but it is keeping me pretty even for now.  I just need to get in to get my blood work done to make sure my body is absorbing it correctly.

Hey, I have been on Lithium for over three years and it is great for me. I have to get blood work every 6 months for liver tests. It is slows me down and I am stable now. Van

This is very positive to hear. I'm glad it's keeping you level and you are doing well with the kids being at home with you. I think it will work out quite well for you. Yay. I'm so happy for you. This is very promising and I bet you are relieved. Keep up the good work. You are doing great!!
