Why wear a ribbon?

"I wear this ribbon because I am gonna make this best of this new life!" (K3221)

MDJunction to me

Claire138"It's been a year since I joined the Parkinson's Disease Support Group on MDJunction and all I can say is thank you all for the support, compassion and friendship I've received and been able to give as well. It was a lonely night when I came upon this site, but the nights aren't that lonely anymore...
With gratitude to all...

roller coaster

Sep 11 2010
I feel like I have been on a emotional roller coaster.  I just wonder where its gonna stop. There are times I just want to give up and I think I would have if it hadnt been for my son. Then I wonderwould he be better off w/out me. Seizures,Fibro,RA, Iliostomy bladder whats next? To me I sound like a broken record but I also feel like one too. I just want out

It's tough no doubt about it, and definitely a roller coaster ride. Please ride it out, don't get off the ride - for your son and all here who are available to listen, support, and encourage you.It will get better, with faith and hope, never give up looking for solutions to manage your pain and give your life the best quality it can attain.
Hugs and healing,strength,courage,hope

I keep looking up and praying but the Drs remedy is more meds.I am tired of taking meds and tired of feeling the way I do. My hubby is great but now he is like want can I do? But his take on this situation came from a Dr "Not much you can do for her so just live your life" guess what he DOES!To me I try to shield my son who is only 11 from problems. But every time he hears a loud noise or I am to quiet he panics. Not a live for a child.I am so tired and wonder how much more I can take on alone smilies/sad.gif
