For those of you who don't know Epsom Salts baths or soaks are very good for pain.  I was skeptical.  I thought it was an old wives tale.  Not so.  My therapist for my bladder had me start twice daily Epsom Salts baths for the Magnesium.  It has helped other things.  So far no help with the bladder problem, but other areas of pain are better.  It has even helped my asthma.  Also, lots and lots of water to drink and no sodas, coffee, red bull.    If you can't get into or out of a tub you can also soak a warm cloth and apply to the area of pain.  Americans don't get enough magnesium and it is better absorbed through the skin due to all the medications we are on that block absorption.
