MDJunction to me

grandmasylvia"MDJ has been "a soft place to fall" for me as Dr Phil says. I have this very painful rare disease Dercum's Disease and take comfort in finding others here who share their knowledge and compassion. Many
members have helped me just by understanding my anguish and validating
my pain. We are working together to encourage research toward a cure.

Christopher1978 Thoughts and ramblings

Feb 10 2010

We met with the doctor and social worker today and it looks like ECT is where we are going. As of now it looks like Monday is going to be the first treatment. Happy and sad about it at the same time. I am being optimistic about the  treatment, but also am disappointed that it is going to mean she is away for another week :( So hard to have her away, always sad to wake up and be alone in the bed. I know she feels the same way.

On another note my 3 year old had a pretty good day today, probably helped that he got to visit with her.
