MDJunction to me

scotty04901"MDJ to me is an added phase in my recovery as a 44 year survivor of a TBI. I hope that with what I have lived through in those years, will be able to help all those who are just now going through. It is important to understand that even after 44 yrs, I am continuing to recover and to evolve. I just hope I can help others." (scotty04901)

My Diary

In memory of...

Cops and more cops

Aug 29 2010

I'm copying this from an email I wrote so I don't have to write it again, but I want it in my diary for safe keeping:

We just got pulled over for the third/fourth time in2 weeks and issued our 5th ticket in that time.    A couple of weeks ago a cop in Monroe pulled Todd over for something, I don't even remember and let him off with a ticket for $54 no po

Jul 15 2010

I just found out an guy I knew when I was young had become homeless and hung himself in the building he was living in.  He was an alcoholic, but a very nice person.  My heart skipped a beatwhen my friend wrote and told me.

 That's all.

Nieces

Jul 11 2010

I have two paternal twin nieces who are 12 about to turn 13, and my brother has raised them in my opinion, horribly.  I feel they are being abused through ignorance and silence of elephants inthe living room if you know what I mean and I don't know what to do about it.

I recently commented on the fact that my one niece only eats pasta with butter sauce on it and the center

Scooters

I left this as a post somewhere too so some of you may be reading it twice.

Recently, I had to special order a scooter from a company in Florida to get around Disney World and theparks there.

It was a bit of a pain in that the battery didn't last long and you had to keep recharging it some place in the park all day and walk for awhile, but I couldn't have

Insomnia again!

Sep 26 2008

Damn this disease.  I had to sleep part of the day because I couldn't sleep last night and it's the same thing over and over.  It's  2:30 and have been trying to getto sleep since 11:00.  I HATE THIS!  I've tried every Rx and natural sleep aid there is and nothing helps, and I can't possibly afford that Biomat I've heard of.  I can'

Well Monday was a mess!

Sep 23 2008

Lots of posts are up but not too many answers.  I guess people don't know what to say, or don't want to badmouth a Dr. despite what happened.  So here's what happened for my ownrecord so I don't forget and second guess myself in the future.

I spent more time filling out paperwork than getting seen by the doctor.  She did not physical exam on me just wrote ou

Nervous about Monday

Sep 19 2008

I'm nervous about seeing Dr. E. in NJ on Monday.  She's the only Dr. that takes my insurance but I'm skeptical because her husband died from it years ago, she has it andher kids have it.  How is she supposed to cure me?  Someone told me "Oh, you can't grade her like that."  WHY NOT?   MAKES SENSE!   And her answering machine
