MDJunction to me

scarysanity"I stumbled across MDJunction in late June of 2012 by accident while reearhing Anxiety infrmation. MDJ has become a haven for me during my darkest days, yet has allowed me to reach out and help others through my experiences. I have found so many wonderful people/friends here on MDJ. Without it I would not be the person I am today!" (scarysanity)

My Dad's Journey With Prostate Cancer

My Dad was recently diagnosed with prostate cancer at the age of 66. His gleason score is 7 (3 + 4). He has chosen to have surgery to remove the entire prostate. We both feel this is the best option in his case. His bone scan & CT scan show no signs of cancer. To have the surgery is the only way to be "cancer free". I know just writing about this will help us and hope it can help others too.

MRI Tomorrow

Jun 13 2012
Tomorrow I'm taking Dad to get his MRI. Hopefully this comes back clear. He will see his Dr. next wednesday to go over the results and schedule his surgery.
