Current course of care

Jul 10 2012

Have done 12 weeks of IV Rocephin with oral Tindamax alternating with Alinia.    8 weeks of Factive.   Stopped in early May Cd57 of 40, 4 weeks later exacerbation.  June fourth back on Tindamax and then Added Factive, D/c'd Tindamax started Rifampin for 3 weeks some apparent Herxing but no significant improvement.   Tomorrow to stop Factive and Rifampin, restart Tindamax and initiate Ceftin oral.  If no change will go back on IV Rocephin.   It's a long and winding road that has no end in sight.  Always hanging onto hope and keep trying.  Last week new blood work CD57 down to 18.  Will track to see if number rises with Ceftin and Tindamax.
