Mourning a life not yet lost

My friend was put into ICU on Thursday, she went in to do pre op test for a scheduled draining of her stomach. When they checked her levels they found her blood count way down and she was bleeding internally. They did a endoscopy and colonoscopy but they say they can not see anything. She had a blood transfusion and a plasma transfusion, and they drained her abdomin. While I was there today, th

Thankfully she is spending time with her mother but nothing as far as feelings has changed. She says she does not love her mother and that she is okay with whatever happens. Now she does not hate hereither and she is not treating her badly by any means just no feeling either way.

My friend was sent home from the hospital... when she texted me she sounded good and glad to be home. I can not see her as I am not feeling well and I know her system not able to handle an illness. ButI am glad she is more comfortable.

Although I did not speak to my friend today I thought of her often. We spoke of her a lot and my mom put her in the church pray group. I will talk to her tomorrow and see if she is able to go home soon.
