aneba for those who believe they have a good handle and understanding if lupus. but need a support grp that challenges them to stay positive. help others who might need a lift. Very curious about the African connection and outlook . trying to weigh culture and lupus- can be a challenge depending on what part of Africa you are from????

Being Strong

Jul 09 2012
I think it is great to be strong for your family- child, mother or spouse, etc..., but what about being strong for yourself???? What makes you keep going, regardless of pain, changes orfear.  emotions are all over the map. What makes you tie that knot and hang on. another thought. How does culture play into having lupus/ Specifically for Africans, is it an hindrance or an asset???
