MDJunction to me

cappymuir"MDJunction means to me the freedom to express my feelings without being interrupted and knowing there are others that can share their experience too. As a Leader it is a to show compassion and give support to all the members and always listen to each one's needs. Sometimes I may not be able to relate, so I view the responses that do relate and happy to see the results. I am proud to be a member of MDJunction and share it with all I meet that need support. I am glad to be an advocate for many different areas that MDJunction fills." (cappymuir)

Another piece to the puzzle.

Jan 31 2012

I've always been confused as to whether I was ICU or a regular room the day they found my liver (Feb. 15, 2011).  Well, today I was browsing photos on my phone and discovered that they wereboth time and day stamped.  Two were dated Feb. 15.  The one at 8 something in the morning I took as a view from my bed.  It looked out at the ICU nurses station.  Another one at 12:52 was me eating the only solid food I had had since Feb. 4th.  This photo was definitely in a regular room.  So I was moved sometime that morning.  Now some of the scenes make more sense.

Note that I was eating lunch at 12:52 and they took me in to surgery at 2 something the next morning.

Mike - so glad you added this to your diary. Please keep updating as you remember things. My hobby is photography and what a great "Medical" reason to take pictures. What a blessing that you have those particular pictures saved so some more pieces of the puzzle fall better in place. I remember being in the hospital and for 5 days and all I could have was broth. Not even a cracker. Ice chips - not even a glass of water. Yet now it seems like such a far memory. As always, love it when you post! Ru
