MDJunction to me

jpcrps"When I found MD Junction, I was in the beginning stages of RSD/CRPS. I was scared, lacked knowledge about the condition, and felt very alone.

MD Junction changed all of that for me. I found friendship and terrific information from people who had first-hand knowledge of this syndrome. It was and still is a big part of my life.

MDJ was my first step on the journey of grief; from denial to acceptance. I am now inspired to help others by sharing this amazing site and sharing my own experiences. I am very impressed that one forum site can provide hope and inspiration to people suffering from so many different conditions. I am proud to be a part of this community.

I walked the mall.. yay

Oct 10 2009
Whats normal for most people for me is a challenge.  Today came the once a year argghee when the wife revealed she had her free godiva chocolate cupon that comes once a year in the mail.  Everyyear its an anavoidable trek into the local 2 story mall to retrieve a couple of free truffles.  Well thankfully I was in a good mood and ready for a challenge today.   We went in and as the big glass door opened I got the usual twittering stomach.  Within the first few yards I was doing it handily and walking, just reminding myself its JUST like the other day I went for my walk outside.. SAME concept, just different location and with people around. Forget them and concentrate on enjoying the time and get relaxed while walking.. Dont look at that tall blonde with the tight pants, wife might see the direction of your stare.. LOL.    OK.. FINALLY.. THERE!   and it wasnt good enough.. I told her.. I'm going to continue walking over there while you get those chocolates.  Soooo I took a longer walk down the mall by myself, passing by a costumed dracula and frankensteinwomen entertaining a group of kids and a couple of star was storm troopers wanting to collect 5 bucks off of me for a picture with them.  I wanted to take a picture to remind myself I had gone to the mall today but didnt want to part with a hard earned 5 bucks.  I kept walking.. Getting jittery now by the foot locker.  Turning around.. Wife calling.. Hello, Ya.. I'm coming back.. Be right there.. Then I said, Hey.. Lets get me some more exposure so we turned around and walked the distance of the mall together.  I was doing OK, though when she mentioned going into penny's I said.. NO.. Can't go that far.. Just outside of penny's I had that "doomed" feeling.. Mabey next time.. So we turned around and kept going the other direction.  Home now and feeling ok but the wife is ticked cause I screwed up on the lasangna.. Who knew you had to precook the filling.. Well, Live and learn.

How funny! Yesterday I had to go to Bath and Body Works to redeem a free coupon! Maybe we're on to something here?! Simple rehabilitation for Agors = coupon for something free!
