MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

No more Campral.
Jun 08 2008

Campral is for alcohol I haven't taken much of it for about a month.  But I have a little more then 90 days now.  You're supposed to take 6 pills a day 3 x a day.  It doesn't make you sick.  But I never drank on it.

I haven't gone to meetings because I can't sit still. That's why I started Strattera I hope I can stop fidgeting, and getting up sitting  down, moving around not finishing what I start, forgetful, unfocused.  Etc.

I'm still sleeping a lot but that's ok.  I don't have any friends so the depression has been setting in.  And no car.  Have to rely on my boyfriend for anything.  At least I have a boyfriend and family.  And a place to ask questions and get advice.  Practice my typing words per minute.  And kindof hurt my back in the meantime lol.

On having 90 days clean!!! What a wonderful achievement!!!

Hang in there. It will get better. Depression is pretty common when you're first in recovery. Just be careful that it doesn't cause you to use again. Have you gone to see a counselor or have a sponsor for AA? They will even come to you or drive you to meetings.....when you're ready! I'm proud of you for doing so well. Keep up the great work! Your input here is greatly appreciated too. You have experience, strength, and hope to share with others. Thank you for sharing your story. It's nice that you find things to be grateful for. That will help you in your recovery.

Best wishes to you!!! Your friend, chris
