MDJunction to me

"I have been struggling with Fibromyalgia, Bipolar, Anxiety, Post traumatic Syndrome for quite some time and pretty much going it alone. I stumbled across MDJunction by accident. I stayed in the shadows and just watched for four days and then I joined, feeling relieved and excited to have found a safe place with alot of folks that I could relate to . It's proove to be medically and emotionally
helpful to me and now I can't go a day without coming in at least 4 or five times a day! I Love my family here.

Making ET a reality, and not something I can brush off anymore.

Hives
Jul 15 2008
Changed medication of Gabapentin to a different dosage on Thursday.  Friday I broke out in hives.  Still have them as of Tuesday.  Going to allergist tomorrow, hopefully she'll be ableto help.  Heat was a major factor at recent concert.  Even with sunblock, I got a burn on my forehead and neck.  Quite shaky.. probably cause I hadnt eaten for a while as well.  Shake is in my hands... I haven't experienced it in my head at all.

Update
Jul 03 2008

I know its been a while since I've written.  School was coming to an end, and then I was sick with an ear infection.  Had to have a sleep study only to find out my Essential Tremor isin fact completely hereditary.  The sleep study was the worst experience.  In no way could it adequately explain my sleeping issues.  Because it in NO way allowed me sleep or try and fall asleep as I normally would.

So school ended.  Then there was a bunch of fuss about how we would celebrate my birthday (7/3) and July fourth.   Going back and forth between my boyfriend and my parents.  Then to finally get a final decision, to only have my boyfriend tell me he's not coming in the end.  To him again changing his mind.  Craziness.

I've been pretty good in regards to ET the past few weeks.  I havent been at work, so I havent been playing piano as much.  But I play clarinet in a concert band and we keep busy all summer.  I have 3 weeks off until I have to teach two week long workshops back to back.  And then another 3 weeks off until the school year starts up again.

I just got some bracelets from IETF with "shaking up awareness for ET" on them.  It should be a good way to put the word out there.  I have to go back into the nuerologist on Wednesday for my follow-up so we shall she what comes next.

We shall See

So I guess I'll see the status of the ET tomorrow morning.  I have to play piano accompaniment for over 600 people singing.  If my nerves and the heat stay calm.. I might just get throughit.  Playing clarinet at rehearsal tonight.. I realized my legs were shaking too.

My goodness, the temperatures today in the school building were out of bounds.  We had a parade that I had to be a judge, which I loved doing.  But the minute I got back in, the building wasa sauna.  No place was safe.  Fans on, and all I was still sticking to papers on my desk.  And my hands, they just shook.  I would like to think playing piano helped, if it werent that my fingers were so sweaty they were slipping off the keys.  Which reminds... I brought home work to do.
Strawberry Festival

I had to play a gig Saturday morning.  The temps were upwards of 95 degrees and very humid.  We had to play for an hour under the blazing sun.   My fingers were sliding off the keys of the clarinet... and to try and play I had to try and hold on.  Only in trying to hold on.. I just resulted in making my hands shake uncontrollably.  I was lucky though... the woman next to me, had to be stop playing due to heat stroke, I just had to constantly shake my hands out and look forward to the end of the show.
