MDJunction to me

MisaBlue01"MD Junction has been a safe haven for me. I have met so many caring and understanding people and i don't feel so alone anymore with my bipolar. I now know that others suffer as well and that we need each other for support. I hope that one day we can all learn to love and respect each other more and that no one will have to suffer anymore." Looking for Peace of Mind

I plan on describing to the best of my ability the trial I go through to not only put my anger in its place but to find truely who I am.

Autism

Dec 10 2010

So, Samual is Autistic. A doctor finally diagnosed the little man as Autistic. Doing my research and reading about all the different signs, it is plainly clear now. I was in such denial. I totally thought "He will catch up" But that's not the case. I will not have a normal child. He is amazing though. He so afectionate and silly. I just wish I didn't have to deal with the constant meltdowns, the judgemental eyes staring, and the intolerant assholes that tell me I need to control my kid. Most people are understanding though.

But, I learning where my reasources are and what is available to me and Samual to help him to become as self-sufficient as possible.

My little guy is named Samuel too. I have felt every single thing you wrote about in your entry. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm here.

There are conventional therapies to manage autism, but I strongly recommend looking beyond that. There are parents who have found DAN doctors and been able to greatly improve or even cure... Sometimes there are chronic infections to treat. Sometimes diet changes help.
I'm glad you see how precious your child really is!!! smilies/wink.gif
