It never seemed to heal.  With in 2 weeks my forarm felt like it was going to explode like a rubber band was around my elbow cutting of cirulation.  Over the next couple of yrs my periods became excruciating. Missing work everytime.  Then tendonitis in my left wrist. All of this pain seemed to move to the middle of my back with such a burning sensation.
