Third Day of Diet and Another Week of Acupuncture

Apr 21 2010

So, started the diet first thing Monday morning.  Had my veggies all cooked for lunch and a hard boiled egg all of which I forgot so I had to go home at lunchtime to eat.

No sugar - killingme!  I must admit though, that after a round of needles last night and eating non-processed foods for 2.5 days, I am feeling a little better.

They are having lunch brought in today for Admins Day and I was a good girl and brought leftovers from last night - grilled tuna steak (which I will eat cold so I will not stink up the whole office), red potatoes with butter (I am so happy I can have butter) and grilled zuchini (yum).

I am starting some recipes and pulling everything together (keepinng a log of what I eat).  I even turned my nose up at the mini snickers that are in the big plastic M&M guy right around the corner. (It is not very helpful to work in an office where we get free samples of all sorts of food - especially the Ben & Jerry's that I can order for free at the drop of a hat - really the power is in my hands to order cases of ice cream and I am still going to be good, right???)

Maybe at the rate I am going I'll be bathing suit ready for 2012!  I'll just have a few lumps sticking out of me.
