MDJunction to me

peasha"This has been one of the most supportive places I have ever been. I found MDJ by mistaking looking for drs to help me with my many health issues and since that day over a year ago I have found a tight nit little family that keeps me going when the times are tough and offers me a place of retreat to share my successes and failures with others. I get to see the humor and seriousness of what I experience as well as the resources to learn about my health conditions. Thanks MDJ" (peasha)

Stamp collecting for Marfan Association UK - publishing articles

Sep 01 2010

Well in the time I have been offline I have been busy.  My stamp collecting is getting bigger and I am adding collectors to my list all the time, I am now sending hundreds of stamps a week to the stamp co-ordinator to help raise funds for Marfan Syndrome here in the uk.  I am putting out an appeal for the members of MDJ, can you help me by collecting stamps from home and by sending them to me, I appreciate all stamps that come in.  Just send me a PM and I will let you know where to send them to.

I have also had an article published in the magazine for Marfan Association UK and it is a profile of me and the work I do for Marfan here in the uk, it is an exciting time as I have my personal story coming out in Canada next month too.  The work I do to help raise awareness is time consuming but well worth the effort to help make people aware of the condition.

Anyway hoping that my friends here at MDj can help with the stamps and look forward to a few responses.
