MDJunction to me

scotty04901"MDJ to me is an added phase in my recovery as a 44 year survivor of a TBI. I hope that with what I have lived through in those years, will be able to help all those who are just now going through. It is important to understand that even after 44 yrs, I am continuing to recover and to evolve. I just hope I can help others." (scotty04901)

Monsoon Season....Oh NO!!!

Jun 26 2012
Well, we all know what happens when there are changes in barometric pressure and changes in temperature, pain, swelling & oh, did I say PAIN!! Felt like I was going to self combust...pain level elevated, blood pressure elevated & finding no relief in sight. For the next several months we will be in our monsoon season. Every afternoon the storm front rolls in & life becomes unbearable. I don't know about all of you but I feel like I'm in a no win situation. I have been trying to keep a positive outlook but I must say, this is the worst I have felt in a long time. I'm used to hurting all the time but I would say on a scale of 1-10, my pain level is a 14!!! I can't think clearly & there aren't enough post it notes to keep my thoughts in order. I've been forgetting before I even make a complete thought. So, for now, I'm going to take a pain pill & call it a night. To all of you out there...peace, love, happiness & health to all
