MDJunction to me

scarysanity"I stumbled across MDJunction in late June of 2012 by accident while reearhing Anxiety infrmation. MDJ has become a haven for me during my darkest days, yet has allowed me to reach out and help others through my experiences. I have found so many wonderful people/friends here on MDJ. Without it I would not be the person I am today!" (scarysanity)

Things about me and my health

being left in pain and frustrated

Apr 03 2008

Well I had a reaction to neurontin. I called the nero and they didn't have time to look at my chart. I was told to stop taking that medicine. Which I knew I should do. It took them the whole dayto call me back. I even called a 2nd time just incase the message wasn't told.  MY original Nero  moved away and the new one is way over booked with all her patients.  It has been since march 24th when I first started experiencing pain in my shoulders. Then this past Monday I started having numbness in my other shoulder blade area along with this burning feeling. It is now Thursday and I am still in pain and even my pain pills do not even touch the shoulder area.  They do get rid of( or take the pain level down to a manageable level) the migraines in which I had a really bad one yesterday morning and then again this morning.  I did have a hard time sleeping last night because of the pain in my shoulders. Maybe I got the migraine this morning due to the lack of proper sleep. That is soooooo hard to do when you are in a lot of pain. At least my employer has been extremely helpful/understanding and not getting mad at me for calling in.

I am going to call my regular doctor today and explain what is going on. Perhaps he will take a look at me and see if he can think of what to do.
