Life with My Beautiful Bipolar Child

I want to start a diary to keep track of things...I forget too much of the day to day stuff and think this might help out. Besides I know that journaling is a very theraputic too. Anyone know how to change a Diary Name???

It's a New Year :)

Jan 11 2012

and I'm hoping it will be a better one.  Not starting off great, but to backtrack a little...end of December we met with one of the doctor's as a follow-up visit from the botox injections.  D told her she'd never do botox again and I agree.  The headaches are back, although not migraines and most are on one side of her head.  Doctor tells her to keep up with the stretches and we tried a few things for sleep as she hasn't slept good in a month!  Nothing's working, so we're going another route.  an acquaintance talked about this product, Orenda, which helped her with her fibroticulytis (sp?)...she avoided surgery, one other lady I talked to takes it as she has fibromylgia and is now off all her meds...so putting D on it.  The first night, she slept great!  And same with last night, she slept good :)   At least its helping with that part already and that is a start.

I keep thinking there's stuff out there, we just don't hear about it or know about it....there has GOT to be a counterbalance to all this crap, ya know.  So, we're giving it a shot.  She went to school for both days this week so far, in bed this a.m. with a headache (which she's been battling all week)...p.t. this afternoon and I may put her back to twice a week on that until we get the headaches back under control.  So very frustrating.

But gotta get this figured out - I'm unemployed, but job attached, so I have a little time before really having to look for work (actually work is hoping to call me back, but they only leave a person "job attached" for 90 days and it'll be 60 the end of the month).

So....we keep hoping and trying...oh, she's tested negative for Lyme's too, although I need to get a copy of the actual test and not just the results....
