MDJunction to me

saralaurie"In the 3 months I have been with MDJunction I have developed a sense of calmness. I now friends who do not judge me because I have been a mental mess at times. It is such a good feeling to have friends I can tell my deepest thoughts and always get back to me with their support. I have never seen a therapist for long periods of time. Right or wrong, this is the best therapy possible for me. Thanks Roy for getting this up and running and making such a difference in my life. Sara" (saralaurie)

Life With Lyme

I am not good at diaries. I may not address it not as often as I should - I don't even keep up with my Twitter!!

As of now....

Jun 06 2011
I thought winter was bad - think again... can't decide what is worse - was hurting what I thought was bad enough, then comes the good ol summertime in TX. I can't figure out what to do with thembut the back of my calves feel like they have a big knot behind each one. Have tried pillows - hard, medium, soft, quilted, etc., etc., etc., nothing helps. Even have tried using different combinations. I was always a "side-sleeper" - not what I get to do - sleeping in a recliner does not make it easy, but I always find a way :) . Even my body pillow doesn't help hmm... might need a pillow under one leg then body pillow then other leg being sure that knees for sure can't touch each other - that would be a crime! Only good thing since last year - have lost about 10 lbs! Mostly from eating differently - yogurt instead of ice cream, fruit instead of  candy, almond milk not cow milk.... it is working I guess - thanks Jillian Michaels. Well off to wake up my hubby to put my legs up - like a recliner isn't enough... g'nite
