CT Scan tomorrow
Jul 30 2008
Tomorrow I am scheduled for a CT scan of my upper airway. I have already been checked for VCD by an ENT who put the scope down my nose but my pulm still thinks that there may be something in my airwaythat makes my asthma worse. I guess I'll find out tomorrow. At least it will be one less thing to check even if nothing is found.

Summer Heat = ER visit
Jul 22 2008

Sunday I had an asthma attack due to the extreme heat in my area. I wound up in the ER . I wasn't alone. 4 other asthmatics were already there. The nurse said that people with chronic lungproblems had been coming in all day. After a steroid shot, oxygen, and 4 breathing treatments I was finally released.  Now I'm back on pred and have to use my nebulizer every 4 hours. I learned to respect the heat the hard way.

I hope that any who read this are smarter than I am.

Stay cool...literally.

Tom
