MDJunction to me

"MDJunction to me is a life saver... when i first was diagnosed with Scheuermann's Disease i wrote a message to a page i found on google, hoping that they could help me.... you'd never know it but that weird feeling (you know that one where it feels like someone actually cares) came over me when i opened my email next day to find that someone on the other side of the world (at the American Medical Library)had read my message while i was sleeping, and there low and behold was the address to MDJunction.... well it is everything to me, i live it breathe it and love it!!!!! I have found many people who are struggling with similar issues banding together to help each other. It is the best place in the world, and i couldn't think of another place to go to meet so many lovely people....

thanks MDJunction

Need some sleep
Oct 06 2007

Ugh, I woke up at 4 am and could not fall back asleep!  My four year old crawled into bed with us around 5 ish - I gave up and got up.  My neck and back are killing me!  I think threedays in a row of physical therapy left me with some sore muscles (pinched nerve/arthritis/bone out of place in my neck causing arm/finger tinglies and some minor finger numbness - leftovers from the mets in my neck)!  So I slapped on some muscle run, took a handful of advil, and am trying to wake up enough to make the trek downstairs to make coffee!  I have been doing an excellent job exercising though.   I saw two of my docs a few weeks ago and they really stressed the importance of healthy diet and exercise and were not pleased that I gained weight (I like my sweets, and if PMS is bad, well, ...)!  I'm not allowed to diet though, just have to be healthy!

I set up some exercise equipment in the basement near the kids play-area.  They play, I work out.  If they need me, I'm there.  The baby (two) loves to jump on her trampoline while I walk on the treadmill!  I usually have to help her dress a few dolls while I'm on the treadmill, I'm getting so I can do that without stopping my workout - multitasking at its best!
