It's nice to know that you aren't the only one going thru something, and there is ALWAYS someone ready to help you anyway they can. MDJ is truly one of a kind, and I'm grateful for the friends I've made here." (jaime1978)

Life

18ish weeks

Apr 13 2012
So Im just about 18 weeks now, just looked in the mirror to realize im getting huge. The doctor said at my babys growing rate it could cause problems during birth but my mother, who had 4 kids, said itshould be fine she was the same way and all of us weighed normal. It surprized me when the doctor said I might be 40 inches around before I have my baby I was only 20 before and now im 29 inches. My mom is scaring me because she said she gained over 100 pounds in her first pregnancy when she was 17. I hope I dont gain THAT much. I want to be able to fit back into my jeans after I have my baby, but Im not gonna get my hopes up. We got a baby crip and a cool carseat that hooks to a stroller. Ive been checking out a lot of yardsales and even thriftstores for anything cool but Id rather buy new things so I know where its been and that its clean.
