Recovering from my Kidney Biopsy |
Mar 29 2008 |
Well here I am laying/sitting on my sofa recovering from my 3rd kidney biopsy. The last one was done in 1989. I am happy that your brain forgets pain. When they wheeled me in the room and the doctor started injecting my kidney with the anesthesia I thought I was gonna go thru the roof. That hurt really bad and also burned big time. Once that took effect I only felt pressure when they were doing the actual biopsy thank goodness.
Now I am just waiting for my follow up visit on the 9th of April so we can discuss the plan of attack. They feel that since I responded so well the last time to prednisone and cytoxen that they might do that again. We will see what the biopsy shows and take it from there.
I just need to get my head in the right space and think positive and also think of the wonderful 15 year remission that I had had and look forward to the next remission period.
I have always said that I have Lupus but it does NOT have me!
