weird beleifs....

i dont know that i am a christian or not, i dont even really know what i beleive, unfortunatley like most religeons, it would only serve to contradict itself if i started going into what ibeleiv... i think you just need to be the best person i can be and to acheive whatever i can s honestly as i can... i guess that must sound crazy, asn i have lost alot in life because of my weird perception, and i find myself a loner becasue of my honesty and intollerance to put up with other people's crap, my recent posts regarding the mother in law and feeling left out refer to some o fmy mood swings, and intollerance,,, i am saddend by the realisationthat it is my intollerance that has cost me alot of friendships, but i stand strong in what i beleive and how i want to live and i am not going to waive that for anyone... am i insane?? maybe but that is me, and i am happy with who i am....

well, I would say that if your intolerance allows you to stand true to your principles, then you are doing the right thing. I have strong principles and I would not, for instance, let an unmarried couple sleep in the same bed in my house because I believe that is wrong. I wouldn't let a person who does drugs stay at my house. I wouldn't let a drunk driver drive my grand children home from a party. If that kind of intolerance loses you friends, they are not your friends. I have friends who believe in the same principles as I do and it's very comfortable. It's a wonderful feeling and I don't think you should worry about it. You should continue doing what you think is right for you and since you are happy with who you are, you are obviously doing the right thing. smilies/smiley.gif

Being a christian is acknowledging you are saved by grace and not by works. No one is good enough to meet the perfect sinless God. He has said that our best is as dirty rags. We are loved regardless of our works because God sent His only Son to die Once for ALL sin.... not some sin, ALL sin. There's no easier way to explain it. It's so simple people don't believe it. God doesn't make it impossible to spend the rest of your life with Him, He wants everyone in Heaven but it's our choice to hear Him and accept the gift He gives freely or keep trying the worlds way of just being good. How good is good enough to get you to heaven?
I'll be praying that the Lord speaks clearly to you. Life is the greatest in His presence, even in the worst of time I have peace.
I agree with Sistrozzie on the priciples you hold, stay true.
