Jun 13 2009

well next week and i am at the pain clinic finally...

i am heading off this weekend and after the pain clinic i am staying for a few days to have a break, then i am back for 2 daysand i go back to sydney for another meeting, so i am going ot be away for the week, but when i get home i plan on sharing the details of the pain clinic here, so that others may know what to expect when they go to the pain clinic..

i am really looking forward to having a few days break, a short bit of time just for me, no kids and no chores to do...yippeeee!!!

i am thrilled as i am not having a great time at th emoment and everything is finally beginning to come together for me, i am hoping that the drs there can help to rearrange my medications and hope that i can adjust to some changes..

currently on Lyrica, tramadol, panadeine forte, baclofen, oxycontin (when required) and paracetamol as well as all my vitaimns and fish oil.

anyway must go now time for lunch!!!

Looking forward to hearing about the pain clinic. I found one near me and I'm looking into it also. I'm at my wits end and having a hard time dealing with such severe pain with no relief from meds. Enjoy the NO chores and see ya when you return.
God Bless

I started seeing a pain mangement doctor recently and he has changed my life. I know some have not had such good luck, as with all doctors you have to find one that you have confidence in. I pray that you have the same success that I found. I think what made my md really understand what I was going through was when I explained what my day consisted of compared to what I used to be able to do. He really seemed to understand that I just wanted to function, you know make my own lunch and vacuum my own home. Good luck!!!

Blessings, Steffanie
