Before my diagnosis, I considered learning to talk like a pirate and calling myself an eccentric for being mentally foggy and weaving all over the place. Now I know it isn't just "my personality."

Solar Flares and Me

Jul 17 2012

I've had a few friends tell me that solar flares are associated withvertigo, somehow.

I wonder if it's a coincidence that I had such an attack this spring, while the sun's been a-flaring. Honestly, I've had a healthy life, so when the vertigo started up this spring, I didn't know what to do. I was the kind of kid who'd eat awful pizza and then ride on a roller coaster 3 times in a row.  I'd never had any balance problems, so MD was quite an unwelcome surprise.

If you check out the link above, I did contact the Carlini Institute but didn't hear back from them.

In case there's a connection, the GOOD NEWS is that solar flares happen once every 11 years- so once this is over, there will be a decade of less solar flare aggravation.

You might think I'm crazy for entertaining thoughts like this, but no matter what caused my MD, I want it to go away. So let's hope for everyone's sake that these darn solar flares have made it worse for us lately!

Your friend,

Jane
