Christmas presents... I took the one and only Christmas present I bought him out from under the tree and stashed it so that I can take it back to Walmart and get my money back. Is that too self-serving, too nasty or too destructive?

Yes I miss Gloria too.
Honestly for the past two years I had not bought anything for my husband for Christmas but his behavior was despicable at the time declaring that it was his Christmas and going out and buying his own plasma tv....I didn't think he really needed anything else.
This year I thought it was the right thing to get a few things for him but it wasn't anything elaborate. I thought it only fair that the kids see their Daddy get some presents too.
No I don't think that you are being awful. You are being true to yourself and you are what you need to focus on right now.
